Camping:
This year, camping will take place at the Moss Farm Recreation Centre, which is about 2 miles from the Thundersprint track and Northwich Town Centre. Moss Farm is a fantastic complex of sports facilities and includes a full sized swimming pool which will be available when not in use by private groups.
We used Moss Farm last year and it was very popular with all campers.
In response to your requests from 2005, Moss Farm will open for camping on Friday 5 May from 5pm to 9pm. This is so that you can make a full weekend of the Thundersprint. Remember, there is the Thundersprint National Motorcycle Show on Saturday 6 May and the eBike party on Saturday evening. Both are free to enter.
On Saturday 6 May, Moss Farm will be open from 9am with the last entry to the site being at 9pm.
The price for camping is £10.00 per tent, vehicle, motorhome or whatever, for both Friday and Saturday evenings and £8.00 JUST FOR SATURDAY.
If ten people sleep in one tent it will still be £8.00 for one night. For a family of four sleeping in one caravan, the total cost will be £8.00 for Saturday and £10.00 to stay the whole weekend.
There is also hard standing for caravans and motorhomes. The cost for a caravan or motorhome is still £10.00 for the weekend, or £8.00 for Saturday evening - even if it is a big one!
There are extensive shower blocks and excellent toilet facilities.
Finally, on Friday and Saturday evenings, there will be a free shuttle bus running from Moss Farm to Northwich town centre. This service will start at 6pm with the last return from Northwich town centre at 11pm on Friday. On Saturday, the service will run from 5pm with the last return just before midnight. After this, it's either a taxi or a nice healthy walk up Winnington Hill which should get you in the right frame of mind for scrutineering which starts promptly at 6.15am the following day.
The eBike party begins at 7pm on Saturday evening with the "Meet the Stars" session from 8pm to 9pm. When the party is over, many of the pubs and restaurants will have late opening.
The area designated for camping at Moss Farm is limited so it is advisable to pre-book and guarantee your space. The booking form is below and space is allocated on a first come - first served basis.

The charges listed below are for a tent, giant motorhome or sleeping on the ground in a bin liner next to your bike. The charge is per unit, not per person. The charge refers only to domestic camping units, not commercial tents designed to house many occupants - for example club tents - which must be pre-booked by arrangement.
